Few Not Many |
| A reproducing disciple will implement a disciple making strategy. Part of that strategy will include concentrating attention upon a small group of people with whom the disciple maker will invest time and energy. |
| Spend time in prayer this week to identify a pair of potential disciples with whom you can begin to spend time on a weekly basis; Set up an appointment (take to lunch or buy a cup of coffee) to describe your experience as a disciple and your interest in investing some time with them so that they can join you in your following after Jesus. Ask them if they are interested in beginning next week. |

Being With |
| A reproducing disciple will implement a disciple making strategy. Part of that strategy will include spending time together regularly so that the Christ in the disciple maker can be observed and understood by the disciple. |
| Begin this week to meet for at least an hour with a disciple. Set up a regular schedule that you can do this on a regular basis suitable to everyone. Also begin to think of ways that you can build a relationship in which your life in Christ can be observed in normal conditions and outside of the structured discipling format. |

Firm Expectations |
| A reproducing disciple will implement a disciple making strategy. Part of that strategy will include establishing and adhering to a high standard of obedience and accountability for the discipling process. |
| Review the costs of being a disciple identified in the verses; gradually begin to introduce your disciple to the firm expectations that Jesus has for those that follow Him. Carefully consider the Practical Responses that you assign each week to the disciple; Make sure that it is appropriate for the stage of the disciple's development. Note also that the memory verses and scripture reading are part of the ongoing assignments. |

Life Transfer |
| A reproducing disciple will implement a disciple making strategy. Part of that strategy will involve the disciple maker giving himself away to the disciple in such a way that the disciple can observe the uniqueness of the disciple maker's life in Christ and desire it for himself. |
| Establish a 3 month plan with at least four (selfless and sacrificial) stops along the way that demonstrate Christ above all else to the disciple; begin to watch for opportunities to describe how Jesus is making a difference in you. Set your 3 month plan in motion. |

Modeled Behavior |
| A reproducing disciple will implement a disciple making strategy. Part of that strategy will include the disciple maker modeling the behaviors and attitudes appropriate for the disciple --- doing it in such a way that the disciple has a clear pattern to imitate. |
| Identify behaviors that are appropriate for your disciple to have. Make a list of them. Ask yourself if you are modeling those behaviors in the view of your disciple. Can the disciple see by your behaviors that the behaviors are important to incorporate into his life? Select two of the behaviors to include in your session with the disciple this week. |

Assigned Responsibility |
| A reproducing disciple will implement a disciple making strategy. Part of that strategy will include introducing Great Commission ministry assignments to the disciple so that the disciple will gain actual "real life" experience in disciple making. |
| Identify five ministry projects (for example, servant evangelism) in which the disciple can get his feet wet doing Great Commission ministry. Include projects that the disciple maker and disciple can do together and independently. Consider the time that will be appropriate for you to introduce the projects to the disciple. |

Immediate Feedback |
| A reproducing disciple will implement a disciple making strategy. Part of that strategy will include providing immediate and appropriate responses to the developments of the disciple, (sometimes in encouragement, sometimes in correction, etc) |
| Ask yourself, "Am I giving my disciple the immediate and appropriate feedback needed for progress? Is an absence of gentle but firm feedback limiting the progress that my disciple could be having?" During the course of this week's discipling session, respond immediately and appropriatately to the progress or lack of progress that the disicple is making. Help them to work through issues they are facing and encourage them. |

Abundant Fruit |
| A reproducing disciple will implement a disciple making strategy. Part of that strategy is to affirm the priority for the disciple to give evidence of spiritual life within himself by producing disciples (even clusters of fruit) with the same reproducing qualities. |
| Write down the qualities that you would like to see produced in your disciple. Ask yourself, "As reproduction occurs, will my disciple get those qualities because of his relationship to me as the disciple maker?" |
