| Take a drive through your town this week and ask yourself what you are doing to have an impact for Christ on your home locale. Are your immediate neighbors believers? Does your heart break for your community like the heart of Jesus did for Jerusalem? Pray each day this week for God to give you a ministry plan for your own community. |

| Ask God to forgive any personal biases that you may have against people or people groups that look and act differently than you do. Find someone in that group this week and do a "good neighbor type" of deed for that person. Identify what you might call your "Samaria". List two or three ministries that you can do for the people or your Samaria that might help you develop Christ's heart for them. |

| Learn about an area of the world beyond the United States and discover as much as you can about the spiritual condition of the people that live there. Begin a regular pattern of discovery about other nations and people groups to improve your praying and your heart for the world. Ask God to burden you about a particular global need. |
